Beginning Agility Course

An 8 week course to teach the dog and handler the basics of Agility. Safety is stressed in the use of equipment. Jumps, teeter, A-frame, dog walk, table, and closed and open tunnels are taught. A basic obedience course is required to join this course. DOGS MUST BE 15 MONTHS OLD TO ENROLL. Class size is very limited.

Foundations Agility I Course

A 4 week course designed to teach the foundational attention and ground work which is critical to future agility. We will be covering the theory of clicker training (clicker is not mandatory, but highly recommended), attention, targeting, toys, warmups, contact behavior, start line activities, jumping style and directionals, as well as reviewing the obedience basics. A basic obedience course is a pre-requisite for this course (dogs must be non-aggressive, and be able to sit stay, down stay, walk on a loose lead, and come when called while there are outside distractions). Course is limited enrollment.

Foundations Agility II Course Course

A 6-week course designed to teach the dog and handler basic obstacle performance with some simple sequencing. All obstacles will be introduced (including teeter and weave poles), with safety and correct obstacle performance being stressed. To provide a safe, low stress learning experience, all obstacles are initially taught at an easier/lower level and progress through multiple class levels toward the desired competition performance. A basic obedience course and the Foundations Agility I course is a pre-requisite for this course (dogs must be non-aggressive, and be able to sit stay, down stay, walk on a loose lead, and come when called while there are outside distractions). Unsupervised drop-in on equipment is not allowed. Course is limited enrollment.

Foundations Agility III Course Course

A 6-week course designed to teach the dog and handler sequencing on the course. A basic obedience course and the Foundations Agility II or Intermediate Agility is a pre-requisite for this course. Course is limited enrollment.

Intermediate Agility Course

A 6 week course to work on advanced skills for Agility competition. This course is required before the student may attend any of the Drop-In classes. Class size is very limited. .

Agility Drop-In Class

A drop-in class to sharpen the handler's and dog's agility skills as well as to prepare for competition. Clients must have taken the Intermediate Agility course. ALL CLASSES LIMITED TO 10 DOGS.
