An 8 week course (2 hour class) designed to teach the first-time competitor the proper way to show his/her dog to the dog's best advantage. Weekly homework includes lessons on breeds, structure and movement of dogs, judging, AKC show rules, and "What Wins and Why?". Cost of course includes materials.

The Center suggests calling for a reservation prior to the several local multiple show weekends. These Drop In classes OFTEN fill in the month to 6 weeks prior to those multiple show dates. (Calling for reservations requires that the client has a pre-paid drop-in card or mails $10 per class requested in advance).
