My name is Freda Thiel and I am excited about
joining the staff at Blue Springs. I
started training my dog, Beau, in obedience at Blue Springs in 1994 when he was
6 mos. old. I had never trained a
dog before and a whole new world opened up to me.
By 1997 we had earned a TD, CD and Championship.
In 1998 Chance, Beau's brother, joined the family.
Chance has earned a UDX2, a TD and a Senior Hunter title.
We are presently working on his advanced tracking titles ( TDX and VST) ,
Master Hunter and competing in obedience.
In 2000 Barbara Handler asked me to assist her with her obedience courses
and I did so until the beginning of 2005. One
of my biggest thrills has to be when Beau earned his Champion Tracker title in
2002. He became the first American
Champion - Champion Tracker in the Golden Retriever breed.
In 2004 Chance's son, Wyatt, joined the family.
