| Currently I am fortunate to by owned by Shar
Peis and Clumber Spaniels. Before
my Shar Peis, we had Beagles. I
started out in conformation and obedience with my first Shar Peis, back
in the days before the breed was recognized by AKC.
We had to get them ready for a regional specialty and shortly
thereafter, the national. This
prompted me to attend my first conformation classes at Blue Spring
N’Katydid in 1988.
Since then I became
very involved in showing my oldest Clumber Spaniel and later my youngest
Shar
Pei
. I also became heavily
involved in tracking and as a result of that involvement became a
tracking judge. My oldest Clumber
is the first in his breed to have earned the title of Champion Tracker.
In addition to enjoying conformation, tracking and obedience with my
dogs, we have also tried agility and rally obedience. |
