Terri has been actively involved with dogs for thirty years.  She owned and operated a dog daycare and training facility in Denver for twenty-three years before joining Blue Springs n Katydid.  Her obedience classes at her facility were voted “Best In Denver” by Westword Magazine.  Terri has taught all levels of pet obedience from Puppy Kindergarten to Advanced classes, as well as teaching private lessons.  Besides pet obedience, she teaches competition Obedience and Rally classes. 

 

Terri has competed in just about all dog sports with her English Springer Spaniels and Newfoundland dogs.  She has shown in Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking, Water Rescue Competitions, Draft, and Nose work in AKC, UKC, NCA and ASCA.  Training her dogs and showing in all kinds of dog sports is very rewarding to her.  Terri’s other interests besides training include dog behavior and health.  She enjoys attending all kinds of seminars and lectures to learn as much as she can about our K9 friends.  Terri has also served on the Board of several dog clubs and organizations and has helped put on several dog events and training seminars. 

 

As a trainer Terri loves seeing the bond people build with their dogs through training.  Helping people achieve that bond, as well as having that well behaved pet they desire is something she strives to help owners with in her classes.
